INVITATION TO SOUTH GRENVILLE PARENTS
Our first meeting for the 2021-22 school year will be on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021 starting at 6:00 p.m. The location and how we are going to meet will depend on the COVID restrictions in place at that time.
We are pleased to welcome new parents to be a part of our council. Our School Council has a long history of being an active school partner and includes parents, teachers, students, administration, and community partners.
REASONS TO JOIN US
- Play an active role in the education of your son/daughter
- Assist in developing and carrying out School Success Plan
- Keep up to date on, and learn about new/existing school programs, local School Board and Ministry of Education initiatives
- Gain personal and community-based training/experience
- Meet other parents with similar interests and have your opinions heard
- Help with fundraising
Everyone is welcome to attend meetings regardless of whether you wish to be a voting member or not. When parents are engaged, students improve, classrooms improve, schools improve and the entire community benefits.

- To foster increased sharing and communications between the school and community.
- To ensure that South Grenville's school community interests are strongly represented.
- To support and enhance the unique characteristics of our school.
